Can they please put umar Akmal above Asad Shafiq in the batting order + Hafeez drops down below Asad Shafiq
I really believe Hafeez's place in down at 5 or 6. Now that afridi is in form Hafeez should come after him. He needs to justify his place as an allrounder. Putting him at 1 or 2 down only puts more pressure on the batting line once he is out.
He is not a Younis Khan class batsmen to be at 1 or 2 down. That slot should be for Umar Akmal, Asad or Umar Amin whomever can justify their position at this slot.

Even after seeing how this pitch performed 2 days ago, he still wanted to chase on a garbage west indian wicket.
On the same note but different party, West indians....when will you get good quality curators to prepare international level pitches?
Are the teams playing beach cricket for goodness sake...why don't we just make white sand on the pitch ....

Hafeez and Shafiq are weak links in the (batting) line up
Asad Shafiq needs to be 'rested' ... should be replaced by Haris Hafeez will probably stay (professor has just too many friends) ... Either Hafeez bats at 7 or get him out of the team One of the two Wahab or Asad Ali needs to go and be replaced with Junaid Ahmed Shehzad needs to be persisted with
Even Nasir Jamshed could have done better ... was dropped a few times but then threw his wicket away after getting to 50! UA batted well .... not sure why he has to wicket-keep to stay in the team
Top 4 should be Jamshed, Shehzad, Haris and Umar
This should probably be the team (Drop Hafeez, Shafiq and one of the two Wahab or Asad Ali)

Yeah I mean Hafeez...I really hope Moin's coming on as CS should put the microscope on this character...
If Misbah is our best choice for captain, then Umar Akmal would be a better choice of Vice captain (read that captain in training) since he is now the wicket keeper batsman, he will have the most valuable input as is normal for WKeepers.

Its simple our strength is bowling not batting we can defend 200 but cant chase 200 .......Won first match by bowling second too

Saw the report in cricinfo at lunch. Looks like one west Indian bowler had 4 maiden overs initially. Hafeez(?) Took 21 deliveries to get off mark. Or was it Jamshed? Misbah as usual took his time to get going. Singles were hard to find. By the time Afridi and Akmal came in, too much pressure had built up.

^ That's the story of Pakistan team in recent past. No attacking players upfront. Every one is trying to save their place.

This last game specially seemed to be a declaration to everyone, heay if you are good enough show it with a 50 at least...other there is a new sheriff in town so he might just axe you really fast...
