I would probably persist with Sharjeel but Khurram has not impressed me one bit. Was all at sea against India too, wasting crucial deliveries

Khurram Manzoor is like Asad Shafeeq. Needs a lot of time on wicket to start doing something. Not a T20 player.

I would stick with Sharjeel. He'll score big, needs some international experience.

Afridi must be offering shukrana nifl his turn didnt come today. He is under a lot of criticism only if he cares.

If Malik's catch had been taken we would have the brainless hitter in next, he would have got out for his usual 2 score and than the panic would have set. Thank God he didnt get a chance to bat.

Afridi's captaincy was about to get UAE its first win over Pakistan or any test playing nation excluding Zimbabwe.... they were 40-4, fast bowlers contained them and then he decided to spread the field and let the UAE batsmen settle in where they scored some 90 odd runs in last 10 overs..

and in run chase his favorite boys, Hafeez and Shehzad did what they do the best... play reckless shots and get out...

I don't see a win here by any mean... had he got any brains... the target should have been achieved in first 14 or 15 overs to make over for the run-rate... but i guess the guy is super happy that he have beaten UAE...

Agree with Hanibal. UAE should have never got that many runs. Very poor captaincy by Afridi in this game.

And I would open with Sharjeel and Khurram (a walking wicket anyway). If one of them gets out early it does not hurt the team as much as losing Hafeez so early in the innings

His domestic records indicate that his ave is 28 (good for T20) and SR 115 (ok'ish), which means he could be used for stabilizing the inning. We don't need all brainless sloggers in the team, otherwise 80-90 is what we will see more and more.

He is not even good at stabilising the innings (Shafiq will be a better option). cannot rotate the strike, was wasting crucial deliveries against India

Unless he does something special in the next games, he will be dropped for World T20

Against India, Khurram got out (but not given) playing scoop shot. That tells he had no clue of the game and opened like playing death overs. but kuch log nahi manain gy :p
