It took 3 swinging deliveries from Prasad to knock Hafeez's confidence out the window and just a few overs later he flashed outside off stump and got caught, having looked very anxious after he was rapped on the pads by Prasad in his first over. Said it before and will say it again - Hafeez is not a proper test opener, he will always struggle against top bowling attacks and seam friendly conditions.
Pakistan will need a big one from Younis and Misbah - both are due.
But he WILL give you (every now and then) one of the most beautiful 20's and 30's that you have ever seen in your life.......
With people like Sharjeel, Awais, Umar Amin and even Ghumman that are perfect to open the inning and WILL give you more in long run and against quality opposition....watching hafeez open the inning is pain in eyes of anyone who wants Pak cricket to do well in long run....Now for others (who only pay attention to minnow bashing and seeing runs/average against them and finding that as enough reason to add + to their KK post cpunt) Hafeez is awesome.

apart from younis who started slow but played really briskly afterwards.. batting has been extremely slow. Pakistan is not playing to win this match.. they wanna draw it.
