56 in 9 overs. kind of start we used to see during anwar/sohail time.

but to be honest, i was pretty much on dot what i said about gul...here is what i said!

*"Gul simply does not have fitness for ODIs .... at best he can bowl 4 overs with full rhythm and deliver those yorkers... that is why he has been good in T20s.... but he has been a terrible finisher in ODIs because most of his yorkers in last 5 overs end up full length half volleys. Plus he is mentally not very strong. Once attacked, he hardly recovers"

*i did say that gul is good in first spell but unlike general perception, he is no more an effective bowler in death overs.....for XYZ reasons mentioned above

and that is what is happening. Misbah is not giving him ball in death overs so far.....he did not give him a single over in last overs in 4th ODI and only 1 in the last match.

i take time before making an opinion and dont change it easily....so yes I still have same opinion of him..mentally weak and not effective in death overs.

happy to be proved wrong!

Dilshan to Mohammad Hafeez, FOUR, works this leg side delivery off the pads to bring up his 9th ODI hundred and, more importantly, the third of the series, becoming the first since Zaheer Abbas in over 30 years to hit three tons in a bilateral series. What a comeback after the SA debacle earlier this year.

If it wasn't for Steyn, Hafeez would probably be the highest run getter this year.
