Mr. Seigal, Tera damaad begra jaiiyeh, yeh he hai right choice baby.
Its too late for him to coach. He cant “teach” these players like “children” k “nahi baita NO ball nahii kernee hai, line k aagay pair jayee tu NO ball hotee hai”.

Apparently thats what he did... Practice, practice, practice.... thats the key
^ Apparently he had umpire Tauffel join him in the nets and he called them again for no balls and wides when they were bowling there. Miandad worked hard on them during this time.
Miandad deserves credit for that. There was a big improvement and I like his pro-active engaging of Taufell in order to help us out :D
Also, as Imran Khan said during pre-game interview... during nets the bowlers have no pressure. Its only when they play in a real match, with real crowd cheering them on and pressure to perform, that the bowlers over-step and go hay-wire. So, they need match practice to be able to control that... and apparently thats what also helped in the 2nd ODI. Some of the bowlers got rid of their nerves.
Shabbir was exceptional in that this was his first ODI of this series and he didn't bowl a single noball or wide ball.. then again, he was thrashed around by batsmen, a fair bit early on too. Oh well....
i don't think Shabbir was helped by Inzi's field placing. It should have been an offside field and Shabbir should have been told to bowl at off stump.
It was also ridiculous that Shoiab didn't have a 3rd man in his final over. Two edges went for 4 from a fast bowler...gee what a surprise.
I wonder what the cricketers or commentators have to say about this series. Be interesting to read Ian Chappel's upcoming piece. Who else writes? Steve Waugh does, but i doubt he'd touch the topic.
inzi is not gd as a captin but i noteced this time he was more 'in' the game so to speak. he went to talk to the bowlers which was gd but still he is not captin material.
the comentator in sky ( indian guy) was saying inzi seems to be hoping for a wicket and not trying to force one out and wat happens the next ball tendu gets out LOL . lakin still the guy was right sadly.

Did you hear Ian Chappel and Healy on TEN sports before the start of this match? Ian chappel is a genius on cricket i must say!
Damn right Saby. Ian Chappell is one of the shrewdest cricket brains around. It's great that he's in Pak covering this series. The guy doesn't miss a trick.

That was the legendary Sunil Gavaskar.
Did anyone see relief on Mushy's face when Pakistan won. Xtreme you must have watched his reaction on sky. He took a very deep breath and a huge sigh of relief as smile broke on his face.

to add to that, his commentry is so informative always. Though Miandad is doing a good job but there were rumors once that Ian chappel was once gonna be hired as our coach.

He was offered the job and he accepted it on the condition that he would not coach the Pakistani team against Australia. That was not acceptable to PCB and therefore he was not hired.

Yeah...that was pretty much my reaction as well :D
It looked for one awful moment like we were going to chuck away all that hard work but then Sami the Bull charged in like we all know he can and that was that.
Saby I think Imran was probably behind the attempt to get Chappell as a coach. He's always been a big Chappell fan.
