Guys cut some slack on Inzi. We all knew he was very unlucky. He is known for his lazy shots. Umpire Venkat has been on our rear end since the SA tour. I don’t understand why ICC finds him competent. He is a third rate umpire who gets easily intimated by the pressure of the bowler and fielders. Not that I’m jumping into anything but that call against Inzi was intentional. The ball was going to the leg side clearly(after the edge). It was an attempt to further demoralize our out of form great batsman, considering the next game is against India. It’s easy to make that sort of decision and not be castigated. It was a BIAS decision that interest India! Simple! Please don’t tell me Venakt totally blocked his mind about the Pak and Ind game. I’m sure he was thinking about it and made his share of contribution J
I think it was the turning point of the game. The two wickets falling consecutively totally changed the complexion of the game. Still 250 against Holland isn’t too shabby. We expected more but with the given situation, we managed a decent total . At least we didn’t crumble to the pressure. It’s same team that restricted India to 205 and also bowled with great discipline against Eng and Aus. Holland, like all other minnows, is getting better on game to game basis.
Overall I'm not very pleased with the performace lets hope we play our next two games flawlessly...
On the side did anyone witness the sixes at Saqlains bowling? He is surely a waste of space
sherrybaba we all agree that the venkat is a lousy ump.....but seriously the way inzi dragged himself to the crease in a lathargic and depressing manner i can guarantee you he wouldnt have scored more than 5 runs anyway and even that probably after 25 delieveries. We cant go on justifying his poor performance in such ways... the bottom line is he seriously needs to get on the ball and start rolling.

well when you saw Inzi running towards the wickets and jumping around, smiling all over the place?? He is always been like this, whether in bad form or good form
true inzi was not given a fair decision and that there wasnt much talk about it because of the fact that he hasnt been in good form anyway.
venkat made the decision so quick while he took ages to make lbw decisions for pakistan when they were bowling, hmm. interesting. maybe he was thinking about the india pakistan match and then realized wasim had bowled a ball that was out.
I really hope the umpires of the India Pakistan match are good, namely Sheppard for sure. Or even the same umpires from the Australia pakistan game as well as the india australia game.
Shepperd is a great ump for these types of games, and should be played for not only england india but also pakistan india
I will say again…we need Sami in the team. Taufeeq is the perfect candidate for the openning place. Saeed will gain confidence. Atleast he is doing better than Inzi and Afridi. Elahi and Younis have a tie.
