6.50 pm A whopping 125 runs in the last 10 overs have propelled Pakistan to a mountain of a score, their third-highest in ODIs. The openers gave them a solid start for the first time in the series, then Shehzad carried on to bring up his century, Afridi promoted himself and made the most of it with a quick half-century before Sarfraz provided the finishing touches.. there was nothing that went wrong for Pakistan today.. The same can't be said about New Zealand. Their bowling was just taken apart today and not to mention the number of extras they dished out. They are also 20 mins late in finishing the innings. They have to come out and play out of their skins to compete against this total...back in 15 mins

Sarfraz was disciplined for taking his shirt off and waving to the crowd. The Shariah authorities issued a statement that they will no longer host these matches.

Ahmed Shehzad is named Man of the Match. He says, "I have been hitting the ball throughout but the finishing touch was missing. But watching Hafeez, I got a lot of confidence. The pitch here doesn't bounce much - last match was a bit surprising - but I worked hard with the coaches to work on those areas."

"Our strength is aggression," **Shahid Afridi **says. "The only way of defence should be aggression. Everyone imbibed that. Batsmen played their part, bowlers played theirs. We were in a good position, so I came up the order to take advantage of the powerplay. Every game is a new game, so you have to keep repeating performances like this because we know New Zealand will want to come back hard. I have almost grown up in Sharjah. So thanks to the organisers and the crowd here.
