flashed his bat wide outside off stump - mistimed - straight to the fielder at mid-off. One shouldn't play this kind of shot in test cricket.

tried to hit out of the park and only managed to gift a halwa catch to vettori at mid off. Malik must be thinking he was playing in his backyard

Malik is more of Politician than a batsman or cricketer, excluding him from the team may unit the remaining team members...
Imran Farhat playing and scoring 30 odd runs means bad time on Pakistan cricket has not passed yet...

With farhat and Salman in the field NZ should expect at least five or six dropped catches between them.
