Glad to see Amir back in groove. Poor captaincy from Azhar. Shehzad and Maqsood should be dropped or the rest of the series.

Pathetic team
If NZ can make 280 after being in all sorts of trouble at 99 for 6 at one stage and in grave danger of getting bowled out before the 50 overs, then they will probably score 400 batting normally.
Once they got up to 250 plus the chase was always going to be beyond our pathetic batting.
Once again Pakistan paid for some sloppy bowling and fielding afterwards.
Azhar is a defensive captain. Yes he was a seamer short, but when you have the opposition on the mat you should be looking to bowl them out and not worrying too much about who would/should bowl the last 10 overs
On seaming pitches, Imad will not be a threat to the batsmen
A whitewash on the cards barring a miracle

I am bit concerned about PD because he is in Afridi mode, two fours and out. He is not that consistent.

Pakistan has to do a post-mortem analysis of this defeat cuz this was the game they could easily win.
Ofcourse the biggest problem would remain the batting lineup who expects a target of 120 for them to achieve. But in this oneday, another problem got exposed was pathetic bowlers management by the captain. Ofcourse that was due to the aweful bowling by the picked bowlers Anwer and Wahab for the depth overs.
Not to forget the lollypop catch dropped of Nicholls by Hafeez who ultimately scored 82.

We have dot ball master Dhoni. Name one player in your team with an ability to turn a 6 runs per over game with 7 wickets in hand and 14 overs to go into a 10 runs per over 4 overs left and 7 wickets in hand? Name one player who could have got out at 7 off 22 balls but for a sitter dropped. With Misbah gone, I am afraid you have no more foundation builders.
To add to that, we have a Rishi in the team who any day may get maharishi status.

Why so much rajneeti? Please include uttappam - an underrated dish. A shadow of the dosa much as Bharata was to Rama. And for variation in pace and bounce, vadai and appam have to be given their due.

It seems like that Pakistan bowlers are pretty unfit to maintain their line & length throughout a 50-over-match…
Pakistan batsmen should seek some shrink’s help…
