Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

Why isn't the dopey captain of Pakistan not playing this match.

Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

^^resting

Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

The tour has just started and he is already tired. Maybe he used the opportunity to go on the Tableegh tour.

Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

^ Why the hell are you jealous? So what he is tableegi. Good for him.

Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

Hmmm so playing tamasha matches in Abu Dhabi and Jeddah are fine but warm ups against a county team in new conditions is waste of time. Oooook.

I hope Butt can get a decent score in the 2nd innings, so at least we won't have to witness another classic Farhat dismissal at Lord's.

Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

One Indian...and Pakistan could not get him out !!

btw, Mongia should really be playing in the Indian side at least in the one-dayers....in place of Kaif may be. He can also play the role of a utility bowler. I have been a supporter of Kaif but I think he has got enough chances now...the few high-scoring innings he played recently were not convincing enough.

Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

If Butt and Farhat keep this kind of form in the tour games then they are likely to open in the first test instead of Malik.

Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

hi

Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

Pleased to see Salman Butt scoring in England, Farhat will do well with him, i always wanted these two to open for Pakistan and i hope they won't disappoint :)

Akmal played a beautiful inning as well:)

Afridi hasn't been performing well lately whereas Faisal Iqbal has been consistent, i think Faisal may play ahead of Afridi.

Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

^^ I doubt that, Afridi comes in handy with his bowling as well as fielding. Pakistan has a packed middle order with Younis, Yousaf and Inzamam. If we do open with Imran Farhat and Salman Butt and play Shoaib Malik at #3 then the big three would come in at 4, 5 & 6 and that leaves little room for anyone. Akmal will make it #7 and we need 4 bowlers with two places going to Asif and Sami and one spot going to Razzaq the only remainig slot would be open for either Afridi or Kaneria.

Although it is possible that we only pick one of the two openers and make Shoaib Malik the second opener. Which personally I think is not a good choice. We should have two specialist openers and either Afridi or Malik should play. Razzaq would come in handy on seaming tracks plus he is a very handy batsman lower down the order.

Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

CricInfo promptly noting a very minor change in their scorecard (Imran Farhat column)

Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

U mean to say Afridi gonna retire again from Test-Cricket :hehe:

Re: Pakistan v Leicestershire.

46/3

Kaneria strikes.
