Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

so moin shld hang thr glovs now i thnk

akmal is a perfect replacement of rshid n moin

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

Pakistan gaining complete control over this test match.....excellent news.

Yoyo, Akhter and now Akmal have not only frustrated the English attack they have also exposed our frontline batsmen. This wicket requires the batsman to stay there and wait for the loose ball. Anyhow, credit must go to Yusuf, Inzi for establishing this solid foundation.

I smell victoreeeeee..........:)

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

pak 377/5 doing great

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

He is much better than these two!

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

I think he’s been fairly consistent!

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

Lets see, waise aik do innings se decide nahi karna chahie

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

certainly he is better in present lot of youngster but i am not gr8 fan of his, he may be good replacement of moin in terms of keeping and batting but certainly doesnt match rashid in keeping

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

rashid has already sidelined himself, but Moin continues to deliver absolutely outstanding performance both as a keeper and batsman.

As for their comps, well one or two innings prove nothing but the need for guppies to feel good. Rashid is a far superior keeper, Moin a much better batsman and that is quite evident from his batting prowess in test and one day matches.

Akmal (Duntoo) has good temperament, but mediocre keeping standards (Ian Bell-missed stumping that cost us the second test) and a good batting technique.

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

I think they have already upped the temp.. because before Lunch their partnership run rate was somewhere around 2 and its above 3 and a half now..

Now they should keep on playing with their natural style… definitely a lead of 200+ can earn us an inning victory… Insallah..

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

Is Vaughan done with his converstations?

t*hand pe geyi?*

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

Let's not start Rashid, Moin v Akmal debate. They are all good. As far sa wicketkeeping goes Rashid and Moin were our past, Akmal is our future. Let's concentrate on our future.

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

^ well said Director

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

Akmal is not mediocre by any means. He's a great great prospect for Pakistan - with all due respect to moin and rashid lateef.

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

pakistan lead by 100 runs :k:

Re: Pakistan V England 3rd Test Match, Lahore

Aw comeon man, give the poor guy a break. Even the best of the best make mistakes. If it wasnt for Akmal (YES AKMAL) we would have been looking at a 2-1 defeat at the hands of India earlier this year.

Moin Khan may be a superior batsman but he has played his time. Bringing him in would disturb the discipline and order than Inzi and Bob have been able to restore for so long. It will be again an ex-captain who would want to have everything go his way thus giving rise to inhouse conflicts etc.

Akmal is still learning. You are bringing up his faults but you so conveniently forgot the two catches he had in this very match. Those two catches are the sign of a true real wk. And he’s no mug with the bat either.

You know the saying, if its working dont fix it.

Sincerely,
Captain Lota
