No it wouldnt, and this is not the first time Nadeem Ghauri has given such decsion just to be ’ impartial’ . Just because you are not trying to favor your home team doesnt mean that you should burn them.

i think he has to move, i remember last yr damien martyn didnt move when kaneria threw the ball and actually he flicked his bat towards it and commentators said kaneria should have appealed and martyn prolly woulda been given out!! but discretion has to be seen by ump, way too many what ifs!

It seems as though ICC's filled with bad umpires. Those on the ground are partially blind, while the 3rd umpires seem to have lost their mind.

but yar.,.. this is stupid... first the two doubtful catches ... without the referral to third umpire and now this stupid throw called for third umpire... this is just ridiculous...

IT SHOULD BE MANDATORY that the 3rd umpire has to see views from ALL AVAILABLE cameras regardless of how sure he is of the result. Clearly, the front view (in slow motion) would have shown that Inzi was ALREADY in the crease and moved away to avoid the ball. But Ghauri probably never waited for that camera angle......
