Broad to Azhar Ali, OUT, Broad gets one to jag back sharply off the seam to strike Ali on the front pad, big appeal, and Steve Davis gives him out! Ali briefly thinks about referring it, consulting with Umar but then trudging sadly off for a 32-ball duck. Even if he had referred it, the decision would have stood. He was struck on the line of off stump, and the so the umpire's call could not be over-turned

First 3 batsmen play 96 (combined) balls for 7 runs only...I don't know whether its funny or disturbing...lol
One technique our batsmen would do well to incorporate is to play down the line of offstump for deliveries just outside off shaping away.
Trescothick used to do this very well where basically he is leaving the delivery if it doesnt swing back in and if it does, the line of offstump is covered. Its quite effective in getting the bowlers to bowl straighter to open up the onside.
