Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

/\During the last few years...Pakistan got few opportunities to play test cricket...so not much in tune...

Reducing number of test matches is not the answer...playing more test matches make sense...howzzzzzzzzzzzzat... :D

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

England will bat till tea tomorrow, have a lead of around 350 and than will scuttle Pak between tea and close of play.

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

First wicket for Pakistan...44/1

How do you know that?

I have a crystal ball. :snooty:

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Mohammad Asif to Cook, OUT, you won't need a referral for that! Asif digs in a short one to take Cook somewhat by surprise. He was actually done in by the lack of pace on the bouncer there, getting through the shot too quickly as the ball hit the back of the bat/glove and ballooned gently to second slip. Cook's struggle comes to an end

**AN Cook c Umar Akmal b Mohammad Asif 17 (35b 3x4 0x6) SR: 48.57

44/1
**

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Eng 44/2

If you dont know that, you are not a Pakistani cricket fan :snooty:

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Mohammad Amir to Strauss, OUT, we’re going to have a review here. Amir swung one back in sharply, there were two sounds as the ball snuck through bat and pad and Zulqarnain held on to the take behind the stumps. Steve Davis didn’t think that was out, but Pakistan were convinced… And they’re right! Big inside edge onto the pad, Strauss goes!

**AJ Strauss c †Zulqarnain Haider b Mohammad Amir 25 (40b 2x4 0x6) SR: 62.50

44/2

can we get the remaining wickets for the next 20 runs.
**

Keep dreaming

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

ohhhhh how the bowlers will bowl when the catching is such pathetic

Farhat at first slip drops a halwa catch of Trott off Asif's bowling in the 16th over and Cricinfo commentary doesnt even mention it.

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Chance for wicket missed...

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

farhat is short of confidance as batter as well as slip fielder. he must be rested as well

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Mohammad Asif to Trott, no run, first slip drops a sitter! That was a gentle, regulation chance. Thick edge, it went to Farhat at the perfect catching height and wasn’t travelling too quickly either. “An absolute dolly,” says Bumble, and that’s what it was! Inexplicable, and no reward for Asif’s wonderful bowling

Is there any hope? :nahi:

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

Now they mention it. 15.5

it is routine work for farhat

Re: Pakistan v England - 2nd Test - Aug 6-10

What frustration for Pakistan's bowlers! No back-up for them, either with the bat or in the field. It must be very demoralising

any hope of what , removing farhat or english team. both not possible
