Overall a good day for Pakistan. Hafeez got 98. Malik is 124 not out, Younis broke Miandad's record and Misbah and Shan were unlucky.

overall a good day for Pakistan except for Misbah's unfortunate decision. There was a daylight b/w bat and ball and in absence of sniko, 3rd umpire had to have enough evidence to overturn the decision i.e deviation and there was no deviation. Anyway i guess part and parcel of game.
Also Pakistan should bot forget that they are in this position party because of 3 drop catches by England. They now have to make England pay to bat whole day tomorrow or at least till Tea

Players who were in jeopardy to lose their place in the team got the most out of this test match so far. It all depends on what Babar and Malik can extract from the wicket.

Who can expect Pak to perform well in tests a few years ago. We were famous for being good in shorter format . ( remember the famous 53 and 59 all out test match at Sharjah )

Its a lil upsetting that Pakistan could only take 3 wickets in the day and that includes the night-watch man. But the wicket is so dead. Now the only hope of a good outcome is that if Pak takes 7 wickets in the first session tomorrow which i dont see happening. It can be dead boring two days..

bowling is pretty mediocre, specially on these BATTING tracks, any team can make 500 here.
Not sure why Pakistani team thinks they can win all the time on crappy/batting pitch, where batsmen who got no technique such as Hafeez can manage a high score.
I predict rest of the series to go the same way, unless pakistani batting collapses and Eng wins.
Why the heck did they not take Amir? Wahab is by himself.......Rahat/Imran are NOT good bowlers......it's sad that we have to depend on a bowler like Rahat to make up bowling units
