Why was Malik trying to stay away from strike? That reason costed his run-out too.... the non-striker was Gul and ch Malik wanted to give strike to Gul, great brains (not).

Pak all out for 171...
extremely devastating defeat given we lost 10 wickets within 70 runs.
credit to Clarke though for his spontaneity and leadership.

Oh man! we were supposed to win this one! With Younis,misbah and Shoaib our middle order was supposed to be the strength of this team. This was in the bag especially after a great opening partnership. What a dissapointment! We need Mohammed Yousuf! and Shoaib akhtar, ofcourse to strenghten our lower batting order :D
Sohail Tanvir and Yasir were totally useless today.

You just can not expect anyone to come in and perform. People who were playing since first game and are use to of the conditions, like Younis, Malik, Misbah, Afridi, Akmal should have performed to get this match.
One more thing why are we making spin wickets? ODIs are meant to be played on batting surfaces.
Well what can you say apart from that our erratic batsmen pushed the self-destruct button yet again after a solid opening stand. The bowlers did well to restrict Australia to a very gettable 198. When you lose all your wickets for 76 runs - most of them got out playing a needless shot, maybe it was sheer nerves - from 95/0; when you are done in by a part-timer (Clarke), you perhaps don't deserve to win.
The momentum is now very much with Australia

well a very great fightback by pakistan, pakistan have won the match from the ausies consecutively, even ausies had never done it before what pakistan had. as to lost a won game to oppostion.
what a great record of pakistan and younis khan after having caught and alongwith chewing bubblegum was going to the pavillion quite happily as if he had and will win the war.
