There was a report from Najem Sethi that Nawas Sharif was almost ready to give his word to his Saudi masters to train fighters for Syria, but the army intervened and showed him his place. According to Sethi, army wasn’t happy at all by Sharif’s views on that issue.

But I don’t understand one thing, despite the terrorism, sectarian violence, extremism, intolerance Pakistan has suffered from over the decades, you’d think that Pakistan by now would have realised that all partnerships with Saudi Arabia have resulted in great disasters, therefore it must be time to distant itself from this murderous, genocidal Royal family. You give them an inch and they take a mile, it’s a slippery slope. We needed ‘money’ when it came to training Mujhahideen/Taliban as well , I’m sure there’s a whole generation that must’ve okayed and praised that move, and the result is now out there for everyone to see. Why should Pakistan troops go and protect this God forsaken desert state floating on oil and blood while Pakistan requires heavy troop deployment on its Northern borders? Let’s secure our borders first then think about taking some extra contractual work of guarding some far away family estate.

Surely they must say something about this insulting law being broadcast in newspapers world over.

If Saudies are paying good money then send some soldiers there, whats wrong in that, we need money!!! and this is easy money... even US sends its troops abroad...

Shaykh Abdul Qadir Al-Jaylani was not scared when he offered the diamonds up to the bandits ... He just told the truth ... he was a child and his strong faith turned the whole bandit gang in to a group of ascetics ... It's attachment to the dunya that makes cowards ... not morality. Pious people are moral and they are the least attached to the dunya ... so I can't believe how wrong your understanding of morality is ...

Surely, you will see that is the test failed - we cannot be people who see hardships and forget everything - we have to be patient only then will we get help from Allah (SWT). Being patient does not mean going to lunches in 5 star hotels and it does not mean running away ... but it does mean speaking for haqq and it does mean giving aid and charity and it does mean increases ones wujood towards Allah (SWT), without lust for blood and vengeance. I think you need to give this lecture on being patient to IK, who have made life of people living hell.. many have died in ambulances and many more may die... and all that because someone is impatient to become PM..

IK set-up hospitals and a foundation that preserves Pakistani environment and heritage. Whether he wants to become PM or not ... He is probably best for Pakistan ... He will not be usurping the country's wealth like others have been doing. He will not pay off people to hide any illegal activity as he is unlikely to be doing illegal activities. This has nothing to do whatsoever with this thread of ISIS, so I am getting confused by the way you are conversing with me ... It is proving to me time and again that there is a problem in mindset ...

I think after decades of empty promises and enrichment of their friends and families, i will take chance on any other party. Have monkey throw darts to pick a winner party, probably will yield better results than current musical chair type democracy sham.

IK is a politician like the others, but he is better than the others ... He is obviously going to campaign for his appointment as leader ... You can't compare him to Edhi and yet compare the other politicians to no one ... Compare them to Edhi as well and they will be even more further away ... No ... You miss my logic ... I am simply asking out of the existing candidates who is the best for Pakistan? There is only one honest answer ...
