We need new blood, especially in the department of opening and fast bowling. It seems clear that Salman Butt will retain his position for a while, let’s just hope PCB does not go back to the tried and tested. Khalid Latif, Khurram Manzorr and Nazir Jamshed are the future.
I have not seen Asim Kamal as an opener, but he is a reliable middle order batsmen. Another great thing is that they are keeping their eye on Anwar Ali Khan, Irshad and Sohail Khan. Hopefully they will get their chance. Sarfarz’s inclusion is also a great sign.
