There are people complaining that Karachi team does not have players from Karachi, most Karachi players are spread out in other teams… I asked them to take chill pill, these are “franchise” teams, not teams carved out by PCB.

This actually is good IMO , KHI celebrating for their team having afridi and QG supporters chanting for Sarfraz from KHI . good one.
Old thought of IK was on the basis of county cricket. This cannot be copied in Pakistan as we dont have enough top players in all cities.
There is quid azam trophy existign for local players to get noticed.
Similar league is needed for hockey. They tried but I think not successful sofar.

Peshawar Zalmi had a do or die situation for playoffs two matches back. They marched into playoffs today by winning both and having Kamran Akmal score first century of this PSL.
I believe he scored one last year too

KK are in the same spot as usually Pakistan is, in most of the tournaments. Fighting tooth n nail for playoff spot.
Meanwhile Afridi had the “So sunar ki, eik Lohar ki” by getting Misbah Cleaned bowled. Im glad he decided not to celebrate it in his style, giving due respect to Misbah.
