Re: Pakistan Super League, 15th Match: Lahore Qalandars v Peshawar Zalmi at Sharjah,
Thanks it was a brilliant match. Lets hope they can change gear and be one of the finalists. waleed has been a traitor to the cause supporting Zalmi. Take that waleed.
Re: Pakistan Super League, 15th Match: Lahore Qalandars v Peshawar Zalmi at Sharjah,
Thanks and welcome back.
I support Lahore whenever they play, but I don’t think they will win the tournament. So once they are out, I will fully support Peshawar. I would really like to see Quetta win, however because I know Peshawar Zalmi’s owner plans to invest in building cricketing infrastructure in FATA/KPK - I hope he wins and succeeds in his mission.
It’s always nice to support people who plans to give back to the people and the country.
Re: Pakistan Super League, 15th Match: Lahore Qalandars v Peshawar Zalmi at Sharjah,
This has been weird display of “city teams” where you can hardly find important/significant players in team of your city. I wanted to support Karachi but Sarfaraz playing for Quetta, while Shoaib Malik is captain of Karachi team which makes me want to not support Karachi. I wish they had named the teams differently.
Re: Pakistan Super League, 15th Match: Lahore Qalandars v Peshawar Zalmi at Sharjah,
Well I would have still supported Lahore if it was being led by Karachi wala, just like Quetta's team enjoys tremendous local and country wide support despite being led by Karachi boy.
Ethnic/regional representation might be a huge thing when it comes to Karachi audience, but I believe that for rest of Pakistani audience it helps to have players with different ethnic/regional backgrounds playing for different cities, as it's a nice little step towards increasing tolerance and acceptance of "outsiders" in the local audience as the whole country belongs to everybody.
I really don't mind seeing Lahori players like Wahab and Kamran in Peshawar team. Even though having these players would have made Lahore a much stronger team.

In the end a Punjabi team won. Not that it matters as all the different teams had mix of players. I was happy to see that Misbah's team won as he has worked hard, is reliable, always been consistent and deserves recognition.

I think that's a great initiative by the Peshawar Zalmi owner. Peshawar played great and were unlucky to miss out by a run. I think next year they will win. I also hope when cricketers, from any country, win a sum of money from any tournament or from any team they give to the community. They do get lot of money and are role models for so many that small actions stand out.

Congrats to Islamabad's win. Misbah deserves it. At the end of the day the capital of the country emerged victorious :)
