Pakistan Protests EU Treatment of Pro-Taleban Legislator

Re: Pakistan Protests EU Treatment of Pro-Taleban Legislator

You can democratically elect someone from the KKK, it doesn't mean black leaders have to talk to him. You can democratically elect a Nazi supporter, it doesn't mean a Jew has to talk to him. The Europeans are still at war with the Taliban. They have no obligation to meet with someone that represents them.

People can elect whomever they like, but don't expect them to be accepted by everybody else. What if a western country elected a representative that thinks Islam represents evil and needs to be wiped from the earth? Would a Pakistani delegation feel obligated to entertain him?
