At this mo , from our generation , if some one is living in Pakistan , its not because of his love for the country ( am just talking from common people’s Pov , please don’t quote DL’ sabieh anwar’s example here ) . He is simple stuck there , for what so ever personal reasons .
If the choice / visas are given , no wonder this world will see the biggest exodus of this century .
Btw when was the last time ya been to bluchistan or talked with some one who has a family in Swat area .
Things are changed drastically in last five years Big bruv
Massive generalizations, but I am not surprised because I have always maintained that Pakistanis are cynicals, this is their habbit. It is not like Pakistan is the worst country in the world. There are many that are crumbling and facing tough task, but Pakistanis look at tough times as Armagedon and good times like limited. It is a journey, in the end, majority are patriotic, they don't care about visa, let's not mock 160 million's patriotism.
Moreover, if it is such a hell hole than why do we have sites likes these where Pakistanis living abroads are chatting about Pakistan? oxymoron?
actually no, what he said does not apply to me, I was not born i pakistan, i did not leave Pakistan and I am not a pakistani citizen. so his statement applies to him only :)
Ohh....saieen just got owned big time. now he is gonna come back with some gibberish and twenty simleys.

Its indeed a journey without a destination matey bhoy :)
it is important because what you said to Rebel X applies to you also.
ofcourse it does and i won't deny it aswell. but then as being a pakistani [like every other pakistani living abroad as a NAWABZADA] it is also my God given right to criticize other pakistanis and laugh at their misery and demean them as much as possible and held them responsible for everything while i sit in in the comfort of my room and enjoy comedians making fun of pakistan. marvelous!!! :@:

oh...that explains it why u have so much love for pakistan.
If we agree with your quoted western writer then aint we nullifying the ‘ Two nation theory ‘ here , which was the back bone in formation of a country , we call Pakistan thesedays ?
Well the same traditions doesn't mean that we can't have that in different countries. We are same because we look similar, we follow similar traditions etc. But then:
** Europeans have similar traditions, similar culture yet they have their own countries.**
Pakistan is there, it is a reality. I firmly believe in that. It was found on the right reasons, only too bad that because of our stupidness and lack of education we couldn't hold it together in 1971.
I am very optimist and in heart of my heart I know, it will survive and become prosper one day.
As far why I am living in Germany and not in Pak, I think I can serve my country better from here. If I can get few people to invest in Pak, promote Pak here in Germany it is a much better service than what I would have done living in Pak otherwise.
I always wanted to get buried in Pakistan but now I pray to my Lord that he may saves me from the embarrassment of having my last sleep in an occupied country like Pakistan . Ameen
saieen: usually when someone gets owned, they do not participate in the same thread or forum for a while.
no one owned me for anything. so get this slave-mentality out of ur mind. if i don't know he is not a pakistani then how is that my fault? my reply was in response to his post accordingly. as for participating or no, thats my call to decide not yours or his. so you mind your business and i'll mind mine. got it?

kap/kapey means 'cut' in pahari, possibly punjabi and urdu too
the reference was towards pakistans destabilisation
of course zardari doesnt want to see pakistan go up in smoke, no blue peter badges for that. the role of candidate for pm should demand much more from a person
oh...that explains it why u have so much love for pakistan.
dur ke dhol suhanay.
baith ke suntay raho. :@:
nope, i think that regardless of me being not born there or being a citizen its the land that my grandparents struggled for, even going to jail for it. and its the land that my father chose to go back to and put 20+ years of his expertise in that country at considerable risk to himself and teh family to a point that we were unable to visit him in pakistan for years due to the threats to our family , he did it because of his loyalty and patriotism. I am honouring the sacrifices and efforts of my grandparents and the love my parents have for Pakistan.
you guys have families and friends in pakistan too, do you thjink they all would rather see pakistan break up? did you gusy leave Pakistan because you hate the country or for better opportunities that were not available in Pakistan.
