That's true. Af-Pak based military campaigns have been going on since 1820s. i.e. Long before Pakistan came into being.

Pakistan Government / Army has always had a role "in the interests of the USA" right from the 1947.
Any "complaints" that Pakistanis may have are in fact about "USA doing MORE for Pak".

I think it is not correct. After the end of the Cold War and collapse of USSR, interests of US and Pakistan run counter to each other on many issues e.g. Weapons of Mass Destruction, Nuclear Proliferation, Islamic militacy and terrorism....rather one can say their interests now are diametrically opposed to each other.
