Re: Pakistan most fascinating investment place, say U.A.E President

Is there any link munphat?

As for why investments aren't shifted from India to Pakistan, India has built and maintained an investment friendly culture for decades, they are world wide known for their quality labor and flexibility. Moving anything from one place to another is a costly affair and for any business venture, pros and cons are weighted in financial gains. Although Pak may become more investment friendly that Indian, which is highly possible, cost of moving can be higher than gains in Pak. Waise, Pakistan has just started running and judging by the news, we're doing pretty okay. I don't recall any other PM, except Aziz, talking about education or universities, or acknowledging the fact that Asia is in focus business wise, and that we have to secure a position. Our president or PM doesn't go to important trade meetings to discuss Kashmir anymore, which is one important step ahead. Positive signals are being sent out about Pak working towards becoming a modern state, which is important if we want others to setup business in Pak.

I don't understand the pessimist attitude of Pakistanis here - can't you be happy for the nation even if this is wishful thinking, you're not investing a dime there anyway.
