Krishna says Pakistan visit was fruitful!

good to hear that:k:

stable and peaceful region is in interests of everyone. I hope Pak-India sorts out their other differences as well, such as water disputes and Siachen… so many lives have been lost due to this Siachen conflict.

Re: Pakistan - India , New Visa Regime

take the bus from wagah all the way to delhi. you can stop by at chandigarh if you want. i can meet you in delhi and if your visa allows i can show you jaipur as well ;)

Re: Pakistan - India , New Visa Regime

Jaipur is in Rajhasthan right?

Re: Pakistan - India , New Visa Regime

How much is From Lahore to Delhi?
That would be great…I heard we will be allowed visa of 14 cities …I heard Jaipur is awesome So many places to visit I wanna go to Bangalore too :bummer:

Re: Pakistan - India , New Visa Regime

Yes

Re: Pakistan - India , New Visa Regime

What in the world is the logic in limiting people to only a few cities? I mean if you are hell bent on causing trouble, you could do it just as easily in those 14…

Re: Pakistan - India , New Visa Regime

i think young people will always have restrictions and they will have harder time to get a visa.

Lahore to Delhi, there is a PK flight and also there is a train “Samjhauta” Express Service [once or twice" a week] to Amritsar and then from all kinds of fast N comfortable trains to Delhi including Rajdhanis, Shatabdis and Durontos. Trains are the cheapest way to travel within India in relative comfort. Indian Railways allows foreigners to buy Indrail Passes which are cheap and allows unlimited train travel in the class of service for number of days you choose. i always buy this pass and it’s a good value pass…foreigners can also book their train tickets thru designated reservation offices across India and they get preferential seats on trains from the VIP quota…Indian trains are well patronized and it’s very difficult to obtain a confirmed reservation for months on popular routes.

Re: Pakistan - India , New Visa Regime

should be actually a day trip i think. you can take some train from punjab i guess. jaipur is few hrs from Agra and Ajmer ( only if you have a million dolla) so it would be a good stop.
you sould concentrate your first trip to Delhi, Raj and UP only. South is a different world altogether. save it for future

Re: Pakistan - India , New Visa Regime

Lahore is awfully close to the border. if one travels between lhr-del , he would be travelling 490 km in india and 20 in pak.

Re: Pakistan - India , New Visa Regime

A meaningless CBM. It is not as if Pakistanis and Indians are breaking down Wagha border to travel to the other side.
