no need for apologies you misunderstood canvas forum, its not necessary tht arts piece is shared by guppies their own creation it can be from anywhere

Southie uncle, We are working on some ideas and competitions. You are welcome to share some ideas. We will be happy to implement them as well. After all, its all about Members’ contribution and appreciation that motivates our team.

Creativity and me are light years apart! Was just saying that those who feel not enough is being done should do something themselves.

Its not about being creative, its also about appreciating creativity. None of us are movie directors, but we do talk about movies. criticise something we don’t like, appreciate what touches our hearts. Same is the situation with the content of Canvas forum. People like / don’t like some art works (say Mona Lisa) and everyone of us have an exposure to art work, if not a painting then architecture of some building we visit or pass by daily. So that can be discussed, displayed here in Canvas forum.

To be honest, being Channel Manager of Art Channel, Canvas forum was more difficult for me to think of ideas as I myself have same thoughts (light years away from creativity), but after going through the stuff posters and my team posted, I started appreciating the art work.

That is what I was trying to say. I cant understand why someone would criticize but not participate.

Muqawee, no issues. I just don’t have idea re such mattes. I was just trying to say to those who complain - offer ideas and participate. That is more constructive than simply complaining.

Also, while its good to have such events it is equally important for folks to actively participate in threads when time permits. Build strong foundation. Then celebrations follow suit.

I do have thoughts on threads, participation, punitive measures, off topic police. But age has finally brought temporary wisdom. So I will stop. (Before I am inevitably stopped).
