A USSA ( United States of South Asia ) would be more palatable. A loose Federation of South Asian member states.
The idea of a USSA was mentioned in a book from a couple of decades ago by a Pakistani fighter pilot/author after a fictional nuclear holocaust in Indo-o-Pak.
