Another pakistani company, Shan foods has a monopoly on spices for desi food. Go to any Indian or Pakistani restaurant in the world and check what spices they are using. I can bet you that 90% use shan masalas. Those who don't either make very exotic food or from scratch.

That true. In this small town of Indonesia where I live, I can find a decent collection of Shan and National products from a couple of outlets.
