There are loads of other things we spend our money on that would be better off going to charitable causes. Military per kharch karna to phir bhi difa ke liye hai.

What amazes me is the amount of money ppl will want to spend or pump into on lavish weddings, the entertainment industry etc.; but when it comes to national defence, it's labelled "fazool-kharchi".

Defending your country in a changing world is a necessity. Getting a loan to fund your wedding and buying that 52'' TV is perhaps not.

pyaricgudiya jee, just like a few other people mentioned, spending money to defend the nation is a must, there are other expense that we avoid but military expenses can NOT be avoided.
