The Pakistan government is building railways, roads and ports, while terrorists are busy trying to blow them up. That is not fighting for Balochi rights but destroying them.

Road to be constructed between Gwadar to Iran
Road connecting Gwadar to Iranian border will be completed within two years. Federal Minister for Transportation, Shamim Siddiqui expressed these views while talking to the delegation which met him under the leadership of Irani Minister for Roads & Transportation at his office on Tuesday. The delegation expressed their desire for starting two direct flights to Islamabad from Tehran. The Pakistani minister assured them that the matter would be discussed with PM Shaukat Aziz. He further informed the delegation that a road would be constructed between Quetta and Taftan to further strengthen the trade and economic ties between the two countries.

Now these Pakistanis just want to reach to the resources of Iran and expedite the transfer of resources from Iran to Punjab...................that's pathetic!!!!!!

the rest of Pakistna gets fossil fuels from Balochistan(not just punjab) and they give much needed agricultural products,and water for irrigation and driking.Its called economics dumb****.

Sadly, there is nothing to say the current situation is different.
Why is the army even there?why do they feel insecure about Balochistan unlike other provinces?there isnt any large army presence except maybe rangers in karachi and the waristan situation is very recent!
Are u forgetting the pashtun movement in the 70s,and the attempt of the balochs to revolt in the 70s crushed jointly by iran and Pk army.Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Now as an average Pakistani do we want Balochis to suffer or get killed and leech on ur resources as u say?No,we're fed the same stuff as u,abt the greater islamic brotherhood,and guess what,most ppl buy it.To me,a punjabi or a sindhi wud be the same as a pathan or balochi,except maybe wecan converse in more thanone language.thats the only difference.
The same sardars who took up weapons now,they have been in previous govt. why didnt they do anything then,or why didnt they resign from their positions then to protest.
Finally,what do balochis want?partition,bcoz that is highly unlikely and quite impractical(Iran will also twist and turn over that).Have balochis been able to switch from former tribal system and beliefs to a much larger national identity?you tell me,These are all questions that needs answering and some thought be all,including the balochs.
Finally,i personally dont trust the govt. it takes two to start a quarrel and i do believe military men arent trained to be politicians so mushy isnt handling this right and being hard handed for no reason.Hopefully this army regime wont make things bad to worse the way they did in the 70s,although the situation for bengal was much different(mostly proximity from the western half).
