Re: Pakistan Aids Insurgency in Afghanistan, Reports Assert
My Racism and bigotry has been exposed? LMAO its you Indians that come to this Pakistani forum and spread their hatred. Isn't it true that 99% of indians have inferiority complex? You seem to know a lot about the ISI but again what they show you in bollycrap movies isn't the truth.

Dude the moment you say YOU INDIANS and lump a billion of us together.. you are a racist. you are a bigot.
Yet another jab at pakistan with a similar article a few weeks back about ISI funding these groups (Taliban/militants/jihadists) and where the factual intelligence remains at large whilst most is of oral communication between the groups.
sharaabee man all of your accusations are hot air, just because you read something from different sources makes it right that pakistan is to blame. why don't you just focus the maoists and their insurgency in india, and leave pakistan on the side.
Re: Pakistan Aids Insurgency in Afghanistan, Reports Assert
NyFella. I am not seriously accusing anybody bro.. I admitted myself that I have not reviewed the leaked information..
However there has been enough evidence in the past that the ISI (and CIA back in the day) has helped Taliban and other militant groups.. many Pakistanis have admitted themselves that their strategic use of militant groups has turned against them now and is causing major issues in Pakistan... denial does not help anybody. Hence I said would it really be surprising if it is true? No. Not really.
Sure.. the maoists are a problem and need to be dealt with.. but that has nothing to do with ISI or taliban.. its irrelevant and useless for you to bring it up.. just an immature jab at India's problems.. thats it.
As an Indian I want both India and Paksitan to be successful, stable and democratic countries.
Re: Pakistan Aids Insurgency in Afghanistan, Reports Assert
ISI itself has been the target of Taleban many times specially in Islamabad. ISI reports to army chief and is under its command. The documents are based on Afghan informants and field soldiers.
US has had close links with army and specially with Kiyani (who himself was chief of ISI before becoming army chief).
If there was any truth to these allegations you would not have seen US and Kiyani coperating.
@sharabee, for a meaningful discussion, you should either put a counter argument or avoid making one line accusations. Our armed forces have lost hundreds of soldiers fighting Taleban, and we are very sensitive to such allegations.

The Afghan Taliban, and Pak Taliban are two different things.
Re: Pakistan Aids Insurgency in Afghanistan, Reports Assert
Either way it’s okay for Pakistan to do whatever it thinks is right.
If the USA can declare abstarct wars based on lies then Pakistan has every right to support it’s neighbouring states against imperialists.
Furthermore at the end of the day when all is said and done the Taliban belong there and the USA and co dont.
Also if it’s proven that ISI did have a part in helping the Taliban then so what?
Like India didn’t help them either…
Theres plenty of evidence that RAW has dabbled in the Taliban too it’s all a game a great game… Till thousands get killed and you have a revolution on your hands.
Re: Pakistan Aids Insurgency in Afghanistan, Reports Assert
Icon. Pak is losing soldiers NOW.. now that their toy has turned against them. It doesn't mean they were not supporting the toy before. Same sht with the US. They helped the goons before for their own motives and now are having problems when it's gone out of control.
Apologies if any of my posts come off as one line sentence accusations. Sometimes I run out of patience to type comprehensive responses when I get the hint that the person I'm talking to (not talking about you) is just closed headed and will keep spewing their bias statements without any reasonable consideration to what I am saying.

.
insurgency is insurgency be it whatever group (including India-The Maoists). You have not provided any solutions to the problem except to trash Pakistani Military and ISI again.
So as you said If its an indian problem your focus should be there FIRST. Just as India has no control over the Maoists and other such similar groups, if any. Appna ghar saaf karo pehlay, before you coming to pakistan.

O bhai main Pakistan nahin aa raha.
Just because India is not problem free .. does this mean all Indians should not comment on any other country's problems? (specially when the problem causes more problems for India) That doesnt make sense. Don't get so defensive.
Neither did I claim to have solutions to all the problems so I dont know what you're on about. All I was trying to do is tell some folks that denial does not help. Everyone globally knows that Pak govt army and intelligence has helped and/or funded various militant groups in the past. now some of them have turned agains them and are causing so many problems. There are tonnes of sensible Pakistani brothers who do realize this.

A nation of 'idiots' yet they seem to be doing a lot better than we are.. Sad to say it but who on the world stage takes Pakistan as seriously as they take India?? Oh yeah, no-one..

They have lot more hunger then "we are" Please check the latest global hunger Index. If thats called doing better then we are better of without "doing better". Per UN report 77 percent uncoil in teh open and these are just couple attributes of "doing better" then "we are"

Karzai asks West to target Pakistan Taliban **
Afghan President Hamid Karzai asked his Western allies to move against the Taliban in Pakistan. He said the fight against terrorists should focus on their training, funding and sanctuaries outside Afghanistan.
Asked about Pakistan’s alleged support for the Taliban, he suggested the West could strike, adding: The question now is why they are not taking action? He also warned the Wikileaks dossier endangered Afghan informants’ lives. He also warned the Wikileaks dossier endangered Afghan informants’ lives.
Wikileaks said it had removed the names of informants contained in the US military files that it published, but it has since emerged that hundreds of names have been exposed online. The classified documents on the website also carried allegations that Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence spy agency was secretly helping the Afghan insurgency.
Mr Karzai told a news conference on Thursday in Kabul: ‘The war against terrorism is not in the villages or houses of Afghanistan… but in the sanctuaries, sources of funding and training [of terrorism] and they lie outside Afghanistan. Asked about claims of support from Islamabad for the Taliban, he said: ‘It is a different question whether Afghanistan has the ability to tackle this, but our allies have this capability; the question now is why they are not taking action?’ The US is already directly targeting al-Qaeda and Taliban militants in north-west Pakistan, close to the Afghan border, through air strikes from drone aircraft.
