Wish we in Karachi were as industrious and diligent and hardworking as they are in Sialkot.
Few people on this board would know that Sialkot industrialists got together and built an international airport in Sialkot.
There were many other public works projects that have been completed under the self-help.
Thus Pak government only issues permits, and all the money comes from the local Sialkot businessmen. thus there is no corruption in the building projects.
People talk about Jhang model for governance and that’s great.
I hope people also talk about Sialkot model for self help and self reliance.
