It has to be the one on left.. coz don't think bangali is written right-to-left
You are right. The word on the right has the 'p' letter (in Bengali) repeated for the two 'p' sounds in pass*p*ort.

By the way as a child then (late 60s and early 70s - we were very fond of eating "shastri ki botian"!

What a veiw! You do not see any tall buildings in the background! Incidentally 1980 was the year when Zia revived the celebrations of 14th August (another lolly pop by him)- before the years then, it used to be like a holiday only - no general public used to hoist the Pakistan flags!

What was shastri ki botian ? Was it a taunt on Shastri ?
