she moved to Pakistan in 1947, then lived in England for some time before finally returning to India in 1960.

Did she ever come back ?
Is she still alive ?
She lived in Bombay for nearly twenty years before shifting to Noida near New delhi, where she had been staying till her demise.

What is her famous work ?

Mery bhe sanam khany
Patjhar ki awaz

Bulleh Shah's 'Sir te topi te niyyat khoti' didn't do much damage to the tradition of head covering, but within 80 years after Iqbal's death, the scenario is totally changed.
