At independence Pakistan possessed three radio stations at Dhaka (established in 1939), Lahore (1937) and Peshawar (1936).
No All india radio was not renamed as Radio Pakistan

How were these radio stations referred before independence? Radio Lahore, Radio Peshawer? why they were not covered under All India Radio network?

Hawaldar Shokat Ali ! uss ki bivi ne ye khabar sun kar kaha tha 'hi.... main mar gai Shokat Ali' aur is ko lekar they made a drama in which this historical dialogue was uttered by Mona Liza aka Sara Loren
