Well its not the first time in my life I have heard of this horror, basically Human flesh is like Pork you can see how some people would eat it as a last resort but to do so out of choice is most disturbing... I am shocked not be the fact that these brutes were cannibals rather that they "chose" to be that way instead of forced into the situation.

what can be the possible reason behind this choice? Twisted mentality?

Which choice do you refer to? The choice of desperation say your on a boat in the Ocean with no hope of any help for weeks and no food... you cant have any more water and seafood is now poisionous becuase you have eaten so much of it... your last resort is to eat your chum or die... Terrible situation which I pray nobody has to face.

The second situation a guy/gal with a twisted mentality that is not quite Human and more Animalistic with a desire to consume human flesh even though theres other options on the menu... Such people I hate to say it should get help and if thats not possible or does not work then theres only one last resort and for me thats kill them... otherwise they might kill and eat you. Simple.

I wonder if we have some legal experts amOng us who can shed some light on legal aspects of this case! It seems like they will be charged for mutilation of deadbodies (which is not as severe crime as murder).

Again a minor crime in comparison. Even the full punishment for "stealing" is not fit for this crime.

Apparently it started off with a revenge motive but then they just got a taste for it :D. They made curry out of it

Apparently the most they can be punished is for desecration of graves which has a six month jail sentence.

From what I’ve gathered it would be no different to eating Haram pork. So most Muslims cant answer the question.

As for the Legality issue it reminds me of that German(?) Nuttcase(?) Amirn Myvers I think who murdered mutilatated and eventually ate someone whom he had aquired as a meal through an internet advertisement.

As for these individuals I think they can be tried for Desecrating the Dead, Vagrancy, Theft, and Mutilation of the dead. If it were up to me I would introduce harsh punishment for such Cannibals.

Revenge… how bizzare and might I ask whom they were avenging and why? They had a problem with the Deceased or the Fammily or were they avenging the deaths of thier kindred…
