Hammad is finally given a ball, in the 4th over he takes a wicket with good bowling figures of 1/16 and his morale must have been very high and must have been pumped up. What does our captain do, refuse to give him any more bowling till the last over. pathetic captaincy at its best or is what we suspect is correct?

I think Afridi is being very pessimistic...untill he has 3 matches won, he won't go for the jugular...
he wants to spin them out and even ajmal bowling a negative line....

so much talent, but so little confidence shown by the team mgmt...

I think combination of both...may be we are making fuss about nothing but afridi needs to be more thoughtful in the field because people will analyze his actions....first he did not let hamamd bowl a single ball in the ODI....that was pretty stupid….and now today why wud you let young hammad bowl the last over when we had so many options to exercise between 40th and 50th over? ...Beyond my mind…

Even though Pak will probably still win the series (becos the Windies suck at the moment) - I dont see anything special in Afridi's captaincy or the team's batting and even bowling to a certain extend.

  1. The batting still looks poor. Why is Misbah still in the 11? We should get Azeem Ghumman, Umar Amin, Khalid Latif, in the team so we can build a strong ODI 11 for the next WC.

Guys like Razzaq, Younis and Misbah should be history.

We need 6 quality batters and right now we have zero.

Same goes for the bowling, we need a right arm fast bowler alongside Gul. All these military medium pacers are going to get hammered against top sides.

Bits and pieces players like Hafeez will never win you matches with the bat.
