Meanwhile, the hero of today, Shadab is currently going through Dope-test as called surprisingly by ICC Anti-dope committee immediately after the match

i dont want to jinx it but our ODI/T20 selection is great and we have folks with right talent. This team needs to be developed. I want Aamir to gain his full form as we need him.
my issues with our test team remain alive. the selection was awful plus our schedule is empty!

So hear my perspective here regarding tests.
Pakistan is going through what Australia is going through overseas. The senior players who hoarded the places for two decades or more are gone. Now those trying to fill in are not exhibiting the expected show. But its too early. It’ll time. Currently the team is going through a rebuild process. Every team of all sports that I’m aware of in entire world sees this phase.
On the top of it, Pak is denied matches at home. Pak is getting zero cooperation from so-called Big 3s i.e. India, Aus and Eng. So they are ending up playing very very less. So I’ll rather give them some cushion than excruciating for something which isnt much of their fault.
I think they’ll be ok in the end.

well, i am not blaming the test team or its performance at all. if you go back and look at my posts of last 6 months, i have never criticized players. my issue has been with the PCB , our coach and the selection committee. let me summarize it again:
PCB is culprit for completely failing to have enough test matches for our team in this season. we will play only 2 test matches in the whole season. only 2. whose mistake is that? why is it Big 3 problem? ICC does not arrange test schedules anymore. every board does it on its own. even SL, Bangladesh and WI playing more test cricket than us. it is 200% sethi, sheryar khan and PCB fault. so when I point out this aspect vigorously, i dont understand how is it equivalent to bringing our test team down? i am helping our team by raising the issue, as they need to play more
Mikie Arthus has lost my support as strategic coach. he is pathetic strategically and i have laid my case several times by giving specific examples. in NZ, in Aus and now in UAE. the fact that he insisted on playing 3 fast bowlers on spin wickets in UAE after losing first test match says a lot abt him.
and last with the selection committee…inzi has been ignoring fawad alam for no reason. they keep on selecting players with average less than 40 in first class and then expect them to become great players. and in the mean time keep on ignoring players with average above 50 such as fawad alam and some more. not sure how to defend this behavior of izi and his team
