but i do want to reemphasize my original point. PCB, please let this ODI team stay together. they have passion and flair which i have not seen for a long time. shadab, hassan ali, faheem ashraf, sarfarz, aamir, haris they are all of the same age group, they all gell well together. i can see some light in them. the way they fight, celebrate tells me that they have passion. let them achieve something and lets get some stars from them. that is the only way to bring Pak cricket and fans back. Pak cricket flourishes on star-ism. but knowing PCB, in 6 months we will have 4 new players around …
Look at overall traffic at GS, many sections have been merged and still traffic is going down. I think last few years FB and other social media have almost completely taken over such discussion forum. People now discuss cricket and politics with their own friends/circle and FB rather than ‘unknown’ people on forum.

Still I dont think fan following on KK should have been this much down as it is form NZ series. Let our team win some high octane matches specially against India and u will see all will be back.

but rankings never tell the full story…is babar really a better player than kohli, finch,root, amla, maxwell in T20s globally on all sort of pitches in all sort of conditions? not so sure.
the formula to ultimate is simple. perform on all sort of pitches in all sort of conditions and you will be respected by everyone and will not need rankings to support you.
one exception, if you belong to a country with very strong cricket base and media, all you need is perform very good in all matches at home, plus give a good knock atleast per series, so the strong media have something to churn.
Ghar kee murghi daal barabar??? :halo: sir jee kohli is scoring everywhere…3 centuries and god knows how many fifties in south africa this year…and not to mention, pitches have been extra bouncy this year.
on the other hand, no 1 player babar was struggling to even locate his off stump guard in NZ and Aus… all i am saying that a true no 1 player scores in all conditions, on all kind of pitches…once babar will do it, he will be my no 1 player. but right now, he is only scoring in UAE against WI type teams
Not sure what rankings say but right now in my books, No 1 is kohli, kohli and kohli in every format! kaya passion hai, kaya style hai, kaya technique hai, fanatassstic. You can see how frustrated SA fast bowling attack is against kolhi. I am just being honest.
