I would love to see Australia first beaten by Pakistan and then by India. You know it would be really interesting if that happens. If Zimbabwe gets two walkovers against England and New Zeland then they are in a very good position of coming in the super six and I think Australia will be under tremoendous pressure.

Zimbabwe will not play NZ as they are in group B. So the only walk over they will get is from England.
**Anwar, hit on the elbow by team-mate Shoaib Akhtar at the nets last week, will not be risked for the key game despite the best efforts of the team management to get him ready in time.
Left-handed Taufiq Umer is likley to take Anwar’s place and open the batting with Shahid Afridi. **
i hope the match takes place, as i just saw the weather update n i couldnt see any sunlight except showers throughout the day, have been waiting for long, n if this match doesnt happens then its another 5dys, kaise intezaar kar sakte hain!!!
Where did you guys check the weather from?? At the weathernetwork they say it’ll remain calm. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/cities/intl/Johannesburg_South_Africa.htm
If it is indeed raining, the pakistan should ball first and get as much movement as possible. Also I hope taufeeq could stay at the wicket to see the new ball off. From what I have seen, the guy does have talent but gets too excited after hitting a couple of boundries, and ends up throwing his wicket.

Well, I am hoping for the best. I really wish Aussies have a similar world cup like they had in 1992, when they started as favorites, but from first match on (vs New Zealand) saari phoonk nikal gayee thee. Ah, if wishes were horses.... :~)

Top UK bookies William Hill have made tournament favourites Australia their 1/3 choice to win Tuesday's clash of the big guns against Pakistan.
Pakistan are 9/4 outsiders for the Group A match in Johannesburg, so £20 on them would win £65.
Matty Hayden is 10/3 favourite to top score for the Aussies while Yousuf Youhana and Saleem Elahi are 7/2 joint favourites for Pakistan. Click here for all the odds.
Over in Durban, Bangladesh are a tiny 1/14 to beat Canada in their Group B game. The North Americans are 13/2.
But none of that is anything compared to India's odds on Wednesday – when they are 1/500 to overhaul the Netherlands. That's bet £500, win £501. If you fancy the shock of the Cup so far, Holland are 33/1.

SA were hot favourites.....they lost their very first match to West Indies!
