Azhar's not delivering since Ist test first innings (on same pitch by the way) is more important to me, then Pofeshur sahab who is only in the Test side due to lack of good selection approach and some dumb rule that he is being groomed for some thing in future..that he needs to be in all three formats for some bizarre logic.
A test no 3 is a really important role that Azhar should totally own.

Khurram got to fifty Misbah style.
Although in this match on this pitch, I agree that occupying the crease for day 2 and day 3 will get pakistan the time, and the runs they need to take the series 2-0. Pakistan needs to get to a 150+ run first innings lead to assure that the last innings Pakistan chases a low target.

If Hafeez has to be in the team then he must swap positions with Asad Shafiq.

Azhar was good before this series dont he lost his touch completely cant score even this mediocre attack

Congratulations to Younis Khan on surpassing 7,000 test runs
He is well on course to becoming both Pakistan’s leading centurion and run scorer in tests
Younis is 35 and still very fit, he could still play tests for another 2-3 years

A first innings lead of 100+ will be very handy on this pitch
Hafeez is simply not test material. It would be a huge disaster if he’s allowed to open in tests against RSA.
Taufeeq + Khurram/Azhar (his form is a big worry)/Jamshed should open in tests. would even try Asad Shafiq
Proff failed again. Taufeeq umar deserve chance in his place. In fact pretty much anyone deserve chance. Even Ahmed shahzad can be tried.
Pakistan has to get 100+ runs lead in this inning to force a result because we will be batting last on this creepy wicket...
Younus khan & misbah again proved their worth in longer version of the game but their job is not done yet. Id like them to continue together at least till lunch tomorrow
