Kusal's early onslaught all but sealed the fate of this game by the 10th over in Lanka's favour but credit to the bowling effort later that we still managed to run Lanka close. Openers were too slow in the beginning. Lanka were 82/1 in the 10th over when Kusal was out. Pak were 27/0 at the same stage. Need to work on that. A good game of cricket nevertheless.

Is anyone from management or former captains going to TEACH Azhar Ali on how to set fields at crucial stages of the matches?

It seems the dude does not know how to set up a field......what a slow dude!

Azhar is a poor tactician, he still has a long way to go as captain but I think he should be given more time. This is only his second series as captain. Hope he will analyze what went wrong last night and come up with better tactics in the next game

However I cannot help feeling that Pakistan squandered a golden chance to go 2-nil up in the series. Despite the mauling by Perera in the early overs, Pakistan did reduce Lanka to 150 odd for 5. Azhar Ali then fell into a defensive mode when the only option to win the game was all out attack. Some of his field settings and bowling changes (towards the end) were mind-boggling to say the least. But captaincy is a learning curve for many, a skill that comes with experience and we know how much experience Azhar has.
