What a turnaround. Superb batting by Sarfraz, Asad and the tail. Way to go. Asad is fast becoming a very reliable batsmen. Third century in five innings?

Tea Pakistan continue to pile up the runs today: 131 in this session after 141 in the first. Asad Shafiq has been immoveable, and Zulfiqar Babar has become the first Pakistan No 10 since Wasim Akram in 2000 to make a Test fifty, and only the eighth overall from his country. Sri Lanka took the second new ball, they peppered Babar with bouncers, but he survived and then hit back. We will be back at 3.15
