You know I whined enough when they announced Gul but honestly except one hour he bowled exceptionally good. Especially last two overs. The one where he was crushed by Munro was certainly becuz he is a amazing pinch hitter. He butchered Srilankan bowlers as well and Indian team should actually cancel all their tours till this guy is playing.

Overall a good performance by the team, with notable contributions form Afridi, Hafeez and a very good start by Amir. But for dropped catches he would have had 3 wickets in 4 overs. Not a bad start after 5 years in the wilderness.

NZ certainly missed Ross Taylor. But from the scorecard we can easily go on the same old analysis that if Pakistani batting lineup does something good, gives something concrete to the bowlers to defend, the bowlers are very good enough to do it. And they have proved it here as well. But had they scored 140 runs, nah there wasnt any chance.
As commentators were saying during the match that its the first time they are seeing so shaky williamson as he is under a lot of pressure. All credit--> Pakistani bowlers!

That guy needs to be thrown out, this is not the first time he dropped catches. Must be a strong parchi-wala?
