I don't use pc. Virus

also crictime.com this is first link. Choose server 1 or 2 or 3.

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

Well, in remembrance of Pakistan legendary wicket keeper of the century.

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

We do not know, but it is possible that all those innings he was not-out, he could have made century if he had enough overs to play, and then his average would have been much higher. Actually, making first 10 runs in test cricket is most difficult, but as a player progress into double figure (reached 10 runs), his scoring gets easy and getting out becomes difficult.

So, to have so many not outs at score above 10 runs are lost opportunities for a batsman.

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

New Zealand lead by 238 runs with 2 wickets remaining...declaration soon? :D

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

Yasir two wickets in one over including Taylor. :k:

NZ 229/8

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

Lets not speculate what could have been. It is time to enjoy a wonderful discovery and solid wicket keeper and batsmen. Long may he continue.

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

Yasir 5/79. :k:

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

Pakistan need 261 in 72 overs. Required rate - 3.63
**
**64.5

Zulfiqar Babar to Southee, OUT, caught at deep cover! New Zealand have declared. He comes down, throws his bat at this wide delivery but slices it to the off side. Southee heads back, he has to be back quickly
TG Southee c Azhar Ali b Zulfiqar Babar 20 (5b 0x4 3x6) SR: 400.00

They have lost the ball. No one wants to go to the stand there and find it.

64.4
Zulfiqar Babar to Southee, SIX, **half-century **of sixes! Southee goes bang bang bang. This is the biggest one of all.. Way way over long-on

64.3
Zulfiqar Babar to Southee, SIX, no. 49. This is huge.. He comes down the pitch and murders it towards the cow corner. Into the second tier. Who's going to get it? There are only empty seats there

64.2
Zulfiqar Babar to Southee, SIX, there is long on but he can keep watching as this one is hammered over the ropes.. Six no. 48

64.1
Zulfiqar Babar to Sodhi, 1 run, could have been a run out had Babar collected the throw from point.. Sodhi was nowhere near. The batsman got a leading edge there

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

InshAllah Pakistan will do it.

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

It is nothing to do with Sarfraz. What I mentioned is to do with any batsman. When they come to the crease, they can get out at duck or below 10, but once they start and get into double figure, they are considered set and should make reasonable score. That is why when a player gets out after getting into double figure, it is said that the batsman has got out after getting in.

And yea, you are right about enjoying a good wicket keeper batsman, appreciating his game if it should be appreciated.

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

NZ 2nd inns 250/9d…a lead of 260 runs

Pakistan to chase 261 for the win within some 72 overs at an RR 3.6…should be possible with some tint of shorter format-style at times and or promote Sarfraz

up the order if required… :jhanda:

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

An achievable target if Captain decides to go for it. Anyhow, team has to play aggressively and lower the defense, that could make game go either way. Probably, first 10 to 15 overs would decide.

Nevertheless, with some good players in the team, Pakistan can decide going for a win. Can even reshuffle the team batting order to get quick runs, and if any adversity comes, good but slow batsman like Yunus Khan and Azhar Ali, playing lower in the order could try to go for draw.

Re: Pak V NZ 2nd Test.

Good supporting declaration by the NZ captain.
