Qadeer wants Ghauri-III test
JHELUM: Chief of the Kahuta Research Laboratories Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan has said he would request the government to allow the test of Ghauri-III in sea for which the whole sea traffic would have to be stopped. The Ghauri-II test on Wednesday was not conducted in sea due to short notice, he said. He was talking to newsmen here after “highly successful” test of the missile in Jhelum. Dr Qadeer said all the results have been achieved from the Ghauri-II test launch. He said the missile hit the target in Jiwani within 12 to 15 minutes and it also broke the sound barrier before hitting the target.

Old news though
This shows that Pak had Ghauri 3 back in 1999, Ghauri 3 has a range of 3000 km, this range can cover all of India, most of middle east, can hit Israel and Moscow.
But makes me think if they had Ghauri 3 back then, why didn’t they test this missile in late May 2002 when Pak conducted its own series of missile test?
