All that jelly no toast. So many innocent people gave their support to Cheif Justice and political parties in hope that they will change their ways and enforce democracy. I ask, have they given us any clear path to democracy? They talk about alternative and anti-musharraf propaganda, but have they talked about new vision and leadership? Pakistan has made progress since '99, we are better off economically and world has new respect for us. Have they shown any interest in walking in the same path? No, they would rather come on street do their mirchi dance call names and act all immature.
There is no vision no direction. Pakistan does not need immature, angry politicians who have no sense of ground reality. I am very sure same parties will make deal with the same ruling government that they so openly despise on the streets. It is a sad state of affairs. No saints only political opportunits.
Benazir Bhutto says she and her party will not attend an All Parties Conference (APC) called by Nawaz Sharif, because it will include the mullahs of the MMA.
But she is requesting that President Musharraf call a Round Table Conference (RTC) of all political parties and leaders, to which her party and herself will attend (as will the MMA).
So she holding the leadership of the party which has the largest single votebank in the country, is clearly wanting to talk to the real power in the country - President Musharraf, rather than oppostion leaders who she sees as politically beneath her.
