A revised figure for year 2004-2005 has also been released, showing a GDP Growth rate of 9%. What an achievment! :k:

The final estimate for 2004-05 has also been revised upward to 9.0 percent as against the revised estimate of 8.6 percent for the year.** Thus, over the last four years the real GDP has grown at an average rate of 7.5 percent per annum.** This year’s growth has been broad-based as agriculture, manufacturing and services have grown robustly.
