Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

are they bowling really good???

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

50 for razzaq and 50 for akmal and a quick 30 for akhtar.... we are still good.

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

Now only thing can happen is Mohali miracle by the same pair :D

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

Yet again the burden is on Akmal and Razzaq.

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

Poor Malik - changed positions today in the hope that he will get some runs. Hasn't done any better.

What excuses can there be for his failures - low confidence, lack of form, England bowlers have done their work on him or he simply not good enough on such conditions?

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

Hope for the best.
We have won these kind of matches in the past. We have a massive history of our batsmen being failed again & again. Its our bowlers who do the job :)

Lagta hai khawab bauhat dektay hain aap

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

With all due respect to Afridi and Afridi’s supporters, I simply do not him playing at the top because it’s a wicket we are bound to lose in 5-10 overs, and while that doesn’t cause any problems in the last ten overs, it always puts you in trouble when it happens at the top of the innings. These insane experiments were what caused us to lose to India earlier this year too.

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

A great collapse caused by the third rated attack. :k:

Recent overs 1 1 1 1 1 . | W . W . . . | 1 . . 1 W . | . 1 . .

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

I thik 200 would be defendable if these 2 could stick around.

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

An element of all of them.

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

Yes great collapse by the superstars against the juvenille bowlers.

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

What so special about conditions? Is it worse than Cardiff ?

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

By the way guys, let’s wait until after the match is over before calling for heads or finding blame. There are 17 overs left in the Pakistan innings followed by England’s 50 overs. We do have a bowling attack comparable to Wasim Waqar era when were able to defend scores of 120 and 130s. We can still get to 210/220 provided we bat out the 50 overs, so let’s back our team and not bash people yet…

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

I am not sure about low on confidence as he has the backing of the people who matter i.e. Woolmer & Inzi. Definetely element of all others.....

With his failure again in this match - looks as though Farhat may be given a chance in the final match.

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

Once again, our bowlers need to deliver... Can Akhtar and Asif pull 'a Wasim n Waqar' here? hmmm

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

The match is not over yet Pak still have 2 good batsmen out there and I still hope they will make it to 200 or 200+ than it will be up to our bowlers and they have not let us down. You guys are just giving it up too soon I hope your words will come and haunt you.

Re: Pak-Eng - 4th ODI (d/n) @ Nottingham - 8 Sep. 06

We need about 80 more runs and we can win this game. 80 shouldn't be a difficult task.
I'm sure that Razzaq & Akmal are asked to play slow to keep the wickets. I hate this strategy. They can still loose wickets. Same thing that happened to Yousuf.
