People who are old enough to remember live games from earlys 90s and late 80s (or in 'some' people's case, 70s!), tv coverage is just so much better with the stump mike. The sound of the impacts between bat and ball, or the swooshing noises a quick moving bat makes make it worth watching the game for a whole day, or five days for that matter!

Yes I REALLY do.

A match is decided by everything that happens over the course of TWO 50 OVERS INNINGS. I have enough confidence in our 'TEAM' as a whole to believe that the sum of our batting+bowling will beat the sum of England's batting+bowling.

Do you somehow believe Asif/Naveed/Akhtar can't defend a modest total? And I say 'modest' total because you have already decided in your mind that it's going to be a modest total. If you ask me, we have enough firepower to believe that if we don't lose too many wickets between now and 35th over, we'll score 260+ regardless! You just should not underestimate Razzaq/Shoaib-Malik/Kamran/Naveed/ShoaibAkhtar ALL going crazy at England in the last 10 overs. You really shouldn't underestimate them, especially because law of averages is in their favor because of their recent performances.

I just think not any total is defendable, looking at the wicket, not much going on, and from the current position its going to be very very tough for Pakistan to get to a good total of 270+.

So from the commentary I am reading that there is banana swing for the England bowlers at least Mahmood is, Inzi right on wanting to bat or not?
